They speak of the fallacy of the importance of business plans and capital, they speak more of working on a “series of integrations of the powers of 2, like the ying yang and how they integrate into the center”, thus a series of integrations, so flow and the founding team are about complimentary interests.

Jelly Austin was started by Dusty Reagen, Jelly quoted as “an every-so-often casual co working session. Anyone is welcome to come, bring your laptop, art supplies, or whatever, and work alongside other creative, fun people. Jelly was started in March 2006 in NYC by Amit Gupta and and Luke Crawford. They chose the name Jelly because they conceived the idea while eating jellybeans.” The people who show up often come from various backgrounds but often collaborate on work and help each other with ideas.

Conjuntured- A co-working space in east Austin that is up and coming. Make sure you drop by and say hi if you are intersted in meeting some of the latest and greatest talent in Austin
ATI or the Austin Technology Incubator is a group out of UT who Incubate start ups.
DMC or Digital Media Collaboratory an initiative on the part of IC2 to create business and academic initiatives.
DCI or Digital Convergence Initiative is a group of parties along the central IH35 Corridor that believe in the idea of converging technologies in the 21st century

Alex Cavalli is a well known personality in the Digital Media realm, he has played a part in many start-up ventures, both commercially and institutionally.
SalsaNet seeks to provide the leadership, vision, and advocacy efforts necessary to educate the public and engender a healthy and receptive environment to Digital Convergence in the Alamo Area. Providing a forum and open source environment to not only the region’s creative capitol, but through ISOC (the Internet Society) to the global market, will enhance and guide to position Central Texas and the Alamo Area as a dominant player in Digital Media Convergence.
This is a big box group, who work with many universities and companies, but ware based out of Austin.
